Ali Shah, Founder and CEO
Ali is the founder and CEO of Web Star Research & Designer. He has over 12 years of experience in operations, project management, market research, analytics, and design / development. In 2009, Ali was the recipient of the Jim Novo Award of Academic Excellence from UBC and the Web Analytics Association. He is also a certified web master and teaches a four-course web optimization program at Seneca College of Applied Arts & Technology. Ali is also an online tutor for the Certificate in Web Intelligence program at the University of British Columbia. Ali has provided digital consulting expertise in the media, financial, mobile marketing, and eCommerce industries.

Jason Taylor, Director of Information Technology
Jason oversees the design and development team at Web Star Designer. He has a combined expertise in art, business and technology. In 1987 he graduated from Seneca College in Toronto with a business diploma and went on to study art and art history at McMaster University finally graduating at the Ontario College of Art and Design in 1993. In 2001 he founded a technology training company called eMobilities Inc. in which he developed vertical market training courses for real estate agents, doctors, and financial professionals on the best uses of handheld computers. During this time he upgraded his education at the Ontario College of Art and Design in the field of print & graphic media. In 2009 he completed his certification as a Webmaster at Seneca College in Toronto with an emphasis on Internet programming (xHTML, PHP, ActionScript & Java script) as well as design (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator & Flash).
Ashley McKenzie, Project Coordinator
Ashley manages the day-to-day coordination of all digital projects between our clients and the design & development team. Ashley has a Degree in Information Technology Management (Enterprise Systems & Organization) from Ryerson University. She also has Business Computer Systems Diploma from Seneca College, and a Certificate in International Business and Business Ethics from Harvard University.
