Web Analyst
Responsibilities
- Tag client websites and test to ensure accurate data collection strategy is in place
- Set up goals, e-commerce tracking, and identify key business outcomes to measure
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and set up holistic dashboards
- Analyze web analytics data and extract actionable insight to improve client web ROI
- Perform keywords research and competitive analysis
- Collaborate with the Account Director to develop powerpoint/keynote presentations
- Help create and optimize newsletters and email marketing campaigns
- Contribute to landing page design, optimization, and SEO content writing
- Stay abreast on the latest online web optimization strategies and solutions
- Aid in the writing of blogs, articles, press releases, online marketing copy
- Help out other team members on collaborative projects from time to time
Requirements
- College diploma/certification / University degree in Marketing, I.T. Commerce, OR related experience in field of web analytics and online digital measurement
- Creative ability to work with Adobe CS4 Web Premium package (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash)
- Some Internet programming knowledge is a definite asset (HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, MySQL)
- Familiarity in working with web analytics tools and understanding of best practices (Google, Omniture or Webtrends)
- Analytical with sound business acumen
- Ability to think creatively outside AND inside the box as necessary
- Willingness to learn and show a passion for the online web solutions industry
- Client service and deadline oriented; organized and ability to work with others
